Pianists/ Keyboard Players
LAM MING is a Hong Kong-born pianist who has studied piano since the age of four and had his first performance at the age of six. Lam took the Music Foundation course at Hong Kong Baptist University in 1999 and received training from Mary Fan. In 2000, Lam won third prize in Beethoven Piano Sonata Group in Hong Kong Schools Music Festival. In 2001, Lam entered The Hong Kong Academy For Performing Arts, majoring in piano performance. He also graduated from the music school of Azusa Pacific University as a piano student.
Lam won second prize in the Concerto Competition in Azusa Pacific University in 2007, 3rd prize in the Los Angeles Franz Liszt International Piano Competition (concerto group) in 2008 and 2nd prize in Vena Yin Sheng Piano Competition in 2009. He also received his Master’s degree in piano performance at Azusa Pacific University in 2009.
