Dominique Chan gained her PG Diploma in Performance (Voice) at the Leeds College of Music. During her stay in the UK, Dominique was an active competitor in several musical festivals. Winning awards included The Leach Trophy (2011), The Ethel Scott Trophy (2012), The Rothwell in Bloom Trophy (2012) and the Kirkwood Rosebowl (2012) from Rothwell Music Festival.
Her operatic roles included Hansel in (Hansel & Gretel); Empress in (The Poisoned Kiss); Emilia in (Otello); Gertrude in (Roméo et Juliette); Leader in (The Tsar Has His Photograph Taken); Rosette in (Manon). Dominique was also invited to perform in the new chamber opera Heart of Coral (world premiere and Taipei re-run) and Datong: the Chinese Utopia (world premiere), both commissioned and produced by Hong Kong Arts Festival.
